1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NumberIQ (the "Service"), available at numberiq.ai, operated by Forge Ahead Consulting (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa ("NumberIQ," "we," "us," or "our").
By visiting our site, joining our waitlist, or purchasing a NumberIQ product, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. What NumberIQ is
NumberIQ provides financial intelligence tools, templates, and dashboards designed to help founders understand their business numbers. Our products are informational and educational tools built by qualified financial professionals — they are not, and are not a substitute for, personalized financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial or business decisions based on our tools.
3. Products and purchases
Purchases of NumberIQ products are processed through Gumroad, a third-party platform. When you buy a product, Gumroad's terms and payment processing apply to that transaction. NumberIQ does not directly collect or store your payment information.
Once purchased, products are licensed to you for use within your own business. Unless otherwise stated on the product page, you may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share purchased templates or tools with third parties.
4. Waitlist
Joining our waitlist means you'll receive an email when the relevant tool or feature launches. You can unsubscribe or ask us to remove your email at any time by contacting hello@numberiq.ai.
5. Intellectual property
All content on numberiq.ai — including designs, templates, copy, branding, and tools — is owned by NumberIQ or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Purchasing a product grants you a license to use it as described in Section 3; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying design or content to you.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute our tools outside the license granted at purchase
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service
- Misrepresent NumberIQ tools as certified financial, legal, or accounting advice when presenting them to others
7. Disclaimers
The Service and all products are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that they will produce any specific business outcome. Any financial projections, calculations, or insights generated by our tools are for informational purposes only and should be independently verified.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NumberIQ and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any tool, template, or content we provide. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update our products, site, or these Terms as NumberIQ evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we make changes. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
